The idea with this project was to take the tired, sexist trope of the confident-in-her-sexuality (as an excuse for fanservice and sexualization) woman. These characters are often sexy for the male audience, and have no actual depth or personality beyond being attractive. So for this design, I decided to lean into the confidence, turning her into a strong-minded woman who is not afraid to do unsavory things to get ahead. She is supposed to be beautiful, but in a way that she herself chose. So, this design centers around giving her agency, personality, and some much-needed depth.
